Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care, an onsite outpatient clinic in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Medical Assistant. You will discuss symptoms, obtain vital signs, perform phlebotomy, administer medications and vaccines, and keep exam rooms sterile.

Documentation in the electronic medical records system is essential. The role supports an integrated care team focused on whole-person well-being; 1+ year MA experience is preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Discuss symptoms and obtain vital signs.
• Phlebotomy and specimen collection experience.
• Medication and vaccine administration experience.
• 1+ year of MA experience.
• Familiarity with HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS patient experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish; proficiency exam may be required.

Responsibilities

You will report to the Center Administrator. This is an onsite outpatient clinic located at our Old National Clinic in Atlanta, GA.

Use your skills to make an impact

Required

• Discussing symptoms and obtaining vital signs
• Medication/vaccine administration
• Phlebotomy and collecting specimens
• Sterilizing/cleaning equipment and maintaining examination rooms
• Documenting information into the electronic medical records system

Preferred

• Phlebotomy experience Medication/vaccine administration experience
• 1+ years of MA experience
• Value Based Care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish - must pass proficiency exam prior to foreign language communication

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$43,000 - $56,200 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
