MAPLEWOOD AT STONY HILL, LLC in Danbury, CT seeks a Float LPN Wellness Nurse to support the Resident Services Director and coordinate nursing services across communities.

As a travel-focused LPN, you will administer medications, provide direct resident care, wellness counseling, and participate in assessments, while mentoring CNAs and training staff to maintain high-quality care across facilities.

Qualifications

Position Summary

The Float LPN Wellness Nurse assists and supports the Resident Services Director with the overall implementation, delivery, and coordination of nursing services in the community. The Float LPN will travel between Maplewood at Twinsburg, Maplewood at Chardon, and Maplewood at Cuyahoga Falls.

Key Responsibilities

• Medication administration

• Training of associates and auditing of care
• Completing monthly in-service training as required

Education/Experience/Licensure/Certification

• Licensed Practical Nurse currently licensed to practice in the State
• Two years full time or full time equivalent clinical experience
• Experience and/or special interest working with older adults
• Able to perform tasks which may be physically demanding such as pushing, bending and lifting up to 50lbs.
• Ability to maintain positive working relationships with residents, their families, peers and other staff members
• In good physical and emotional health and free of communicable diseases
