Job summary

Maplewood Senior Living in Ohio is seeking an LPN to assist the Resident Services Director in delivering compassionate nursing care to our residents at Maplewood at Chardon. This full-time role focuses on medication administration, direct care, and wellness support.

The ideal candidate is a licensed Practical Nurse, with at least two years of clinical experience, strong teamwork, physical stamina, and a commitment to aging in place in a luxury, home-like environment.

Qualifications

• LPN licensed to practice in the State of Ohio.
• Minimum of 2 years of full-time or full-time equivalent clinical experience.
• Experience and/or interest in working with older adults.
• Able to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to maintain positive working relationships with residents, families, peers and staff.

Position Summary

The LPN Wellness Nurse assists and supports the Resident Services Director with the overall implementation, delivery, and coordination of nursing services in the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Medication administration
• Direct care and service to residents

• Participation in assessments under the supervision of the Resident Services Director (RN)
• Support of residents and families

Education/Experience/Licensure/Certification

• Licensed Practical Nurse currently licensed to practice in the State
• Two years full time or full time equivalent clinical experience
• Experience and/or special interest working with older adults
• Able to perform tasks which may be physically demanding such as pushing, bending and lifting up to 50lbs.
• Ability to maintain positive working relationships with residents, their families, peers and other staff members
• In good physical and emotional health and free of communicable diseases
