Job summary

Optima Care Fountains in Secaucus, NJ seeks an experienced LPN to support residents during the 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm shift. This floater role covers needs across the unit and requires flexible scheduling based on patient care demands.

The successful candidate will provide nursing care, administer medications, assist physicians, and collaborate with the care team to ensure comfort and safety for residents. A valid RN/LPN license is required.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as RN or LPN in New Jersey.
• Experience providing direct patient care and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to patients as assigned.
• Administers and records medications and treatments as assigned.
• Prepares for and assists Physicians with diagnostic procedures and treatments.
• Reinforce supports and provides health care instructions to patients and families.
• Participates with team members in planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care.
• Assists in admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Observes and reports vital signs and patient condition to appropriate staff.
• Records observations in patient charts.
• Maintains environments conducive to patient comfort and safety.
• Assists with unit management and may assume charge as assigned.
