Job summary

Global Medical Response, including Air Evac Lifeteam, seeks a Float Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) in Georgia to maintain and ensure safety of our helicopter fleet. You will perform mechanical inspections and coordinate with the team to deliver high-quality patient transport services.

The role requires an A&P license, 2 years turbine helicopter experience, FAA knowledge, and a flexible schedule with 24/7 on-call rotations. Compensation reflects market rates.

Qualifications

• Two years turbine powered helicopter experience.
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's License and FAA knowledge.
• Knowledge of EMS and maintenance records systems.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and on-call rotations.
• Must meet FAA drug and alcohol testing program requirements.
• Can lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull 100+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections and repairs, and provide status updates to Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks, update equipment logs, and place replacement requests as needed.
• Document service paperwork and FAA information per policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment for the crew.
• Coordinate with departments, vendors and team members to ensure efficiency.
• Collaborate with allied health and operations teams in daily tasks.
