RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Float Front Office Associate to join our team. As a Float Front Office Associate, you will be the first point of contact for patients and referring professionals -- answering phones, greeting and registering patients, scheduling procedures, and acting as a liaison between technologists and patients awaiting exams. This role involves travel to multiple CDI locations, with eligibility for a shift differential.

You will be part of a team providing screening, diagnostic, and interventional procedures with compassion and integrity, ensuring high quality, access, service, and value for our patients and providers. Your role includes actively listening to patients' needs and demonstrating empathy.

This is a full-time position, working Monday - Friday with rotating Saturdays. Shifts vary.

Essential Duties:
  1. Registration (65%)
  • Greeting and checking-in patients, registering demographic info, processing payments and copays
  • Answering phones efficiently and courteously
  • Handling calls for center associates
  • Relaying messages between technologists and patients
  • Following up on unread exams
  • Maintaining the lobby area and office supplies
  • Ordering office supplies as needed
  • Maintaining patient info sheets
  • Push imaging via electronic interfaces
  • Completing confirmation calls and providing prep instructions
  • Faxing reports, billing info, and medical releases
  • Scheduling & Insurance (25%)
    • Scheduling patients and entering orders
    • Maintaining database of referring physicians
    • Updating patient records in RIS
    • Arranging interpreter, transportation, and accommodations
    • Managing pending-scheduling list
    • Checking exams for insurance pre-certification
    • Handling information release requests
    • Obtaining insurance authorizations as needed
  • Other duties (10%)
  • Qualifications

    Required:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Microsoft Office experience
    • 1-2 years customer service experience
    • Proficiency with computer systems and typing
    • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance

    Preferred:

    • 1-2 years medical front office experience
    • Knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures
    • Bilingual skills
