Job summary

Dermatology Consultants, P.A. is hiring a Medical Assistant or Practical Nurse to support physicians across dermatology procedures including Mohs surgery. You will assist with patient care, rooming, and EMR scribing, while performing injections, phlebotomy and administrative duties.

The position offers a Monday-Thursday schedule in the East Metro with no evenings or weekends, a strong benefits package, and a pathway to professional certification. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or Practical Nursing Program with CMA, RMA or LPN certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, exciting environment.
• Must be able to multi-task and provide warm, professional patient service.
• EMR documentation/scribing experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct assistance to physician with Mohs surgery, excisions, skin biopsies, wart treatments, cosmetic services, etc.
• Room patients and stay with patient throughout visit to scribe for physician in EMR system
• Perform clinical and administrative duties including injections, phlebotomy, instrument cleaning, specimen handling, phone calls, scheduling, and patient education

The Medical Assistant or LPN collaborates with the dermatologist on the patient care team. Responsibilities include a variety of hands‑on patient care duties including assisting with patient flow, assisting the physician, Mohs surgery assisting, Electronic Medical Record (EMR) scribing, lab duties, and phlebotomy.

Starting Pay Range:

• $22.00 - $28.50 per hour
