Job Description: Full Time Dental Assistant opportunity based out of Meriden, Monday - Friday, with one Saturday per month. Position offers healthcare benefits, PTO, and 403B. Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and be flexible with travel.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Support dentist in delivering primary dental care, prepare equipment and workspace, and contribute to a supportive atmosphere for patients.
2. Use chairside, four-handed dentistry techniques.
3. Prepare office and treatment areas daily.
4. Perform pre/post treatment setup and cleanup following agency protocols.
5. Prepare patients for procedures and assist the dentist at chairside.
6. Maintain knowledge of instruments and techniques for all procedures.
7. Perform independent patient services including triage, radiographs, impressions, suture removal, temporary fillings, recement crowns, and laboratory work.
8. Maintain dental equipment, treatment areas, and inventory of supplies.
9. Follow safety and infection control standards, including PPE usage.
10. Take quality radiographs, process, mount, and label correctly, and comply with radiation safety standards.
11. Provide excellent customer service, focusing on quality of care and teamwork.
12. Complete mandated in-service training workshops.
13. Maintain confidentiality of patient and business information, including data entry and access to medical records.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Dental Assisting School or two years of general dentistry experience.
• Certification in Dental Radiology and Infection Control by DANB.
• Commitment to preventive dental care and interest in serving diverse patient populations.
• Bilingual fluency (e.g., English/Spanish or English/Polish) preferred.
