When weather is clear, the position focuses on custodial duties to keep facilities clean and welcoming.

Qualifications

• Snow-removal experience is required.
• Snowplowing experience preferred.
• Custodial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform snow removal and de-icing to keep parking lots, walkways, entrances and emergency routes safe and accessible.
• Provide custodial services when snow events are not occurring and maintain clean facilities.
• Respond to on-call snow events including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Assist with general cleaning, facility support and maintenance tasks as needed.

Mozaic (AChapter of Arc NY) is seeking a dependable and versatile Snow Removal & Float Custodian to join our team. This unique position combines on-call snow and ice removal responsibilities with guaranteed custodial hours at C&S Companies when snow events are not occurring. During inclement weather, the primary focus is maintaining safe and accessible parking lots, walkways, entrances, and emergency access routes through snow removal and de-icing operations. When weather conditions are clear, the role transitions to custodial duties, ensuring facilities remain clean, safe, and welcoming.

The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, adaptable, and able to work independently or as part of a team. This position requires responsiveness to on-call snow events, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as well as the ability to perform a variety of cleaning, facility support, and maintenance-related tasks. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining safe and professional environments are essential for success in this role.

Pay Range: $17.50 - Custodial, $20.80 per hour - On Call Plow Operator

Job Type: Part-Time

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 4:00pm-10:00pm (Hours may vay)
