Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa, Florida is seeking a Float Pool Registered Nurse to join a full-time night-shift team. The role focuses on patient placement coordination, care plan development, and execution with physician orders while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency in a high-acuity environment.

Requires RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, EKG preferred, and 1+ year of relevant experience; 1+ year in critical care preferred.

Qualifications

• RN with required licensure and active state registration.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
• Bachelor’s in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates on patient placement according to hospital policy for admission, discharge, and transfer.
• Collects comprehensive data for patient health and unit improvement initiatives.
• Develops and prioritizes care plans with patient, family, and health team.
• Implements plans with nursing interventions and physician orders.
• Ensures safe, effective handoffs and documentation between caregivers.
• Educates patients and families based on learning needs.
