Job summary

Quorum Health Corporation seeks a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) for the Float Pool at Kentucky River Medical Center in Jackson, KY. This is a full-time, on-site position primarily on the day shift (7a–7p), with scheduling that may vary by department needs.

Responsibilities include direct patient care under RN supervision, helping patients with daily activities, collecting vital signs, and supporting procedures. Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior experience required.
• Certification from an accredited nursing assistant program required.
• SRNA License to practice in Kentucky required.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care activities under supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Assists patients with dressing, bathing, and eating.
• Collects non-invasive specimens or gathers vital signs.
• Aids physicians and nursing staff with procedures as needed.
• Documents patient interactions as needed.
• Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
