Job summary

Quorum Health Corporation seeks a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) for the Emergency Department at Kentucky River Medical Center in Jackson, KY. This full-time, on-site role offers a mid-shift schedule (12:00pm–12:00am) with hours subject to department needs.

You will perform direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, assist with dressing, bathing, and eating, collect vital signs, and document interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification from an accredited nursing assistant program required.
• SRNA license to practice in Kentucky.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Assists patients with dressing, bathing, and eating.
• Collects non-invasive body fluid specimens or gathers vital signs.
• Aids physicians and nursing staff during procedures as needed.
• Documents patient interactions as needed.
• Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
