Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an approved Nurse Aide Training Program; DFS Nurse Aide Registry as Nurse Aide I.
• Current listing with the DFS Nurse Aide Registry as a Nurse Aide I.
• Current American Heart Association BLS HealthCare Provider certification required.
• Demonstrates ability to provide patient-focused care in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care for patient comfort (bathing, grooming, skincare).
• Distributes meals and records dietary intake.
• Assists with bedpans, urinals, and basic hygiene tasks.
• Records vital signs and daily measurements; ensures safety during transfers.
• Maintains documentation per policies and participates in hand-offs.
