Job summary

Millennium-Physician-Group seeks a compassionate Medical Assistant II (CMA/RMA) to float across Naples, FL clinics. You will ensure smooth patient flow, accurate documentation, and exceptional care while adapting to different clinic environments.

This full-time role requires at least 3 years MA experience, CMA/RMA certification, and current BLS. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; reliable transportation is needed to move between locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of Medical Assistant experience.
• Active CMA or RMA certification (must provide proof).
• BLS certification current.
• Experience in primary care, internal medicine, or urgent care preferred.
• Clerical/front desk experience or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Patient intake, including vital signs, medical histories, medications, and allergies.
• Assist providers with exams, minor procedures, wound care, and diagnostic testing.
• Perform EKGs, immunizations, and specimen collection.
• Prepare, label, and process lab samples and point-of-care tests.
• Maintain infection control, safety protocols, and equipment calibration.
• Schedule appointments, manage referrals, authorizations, and test results.
• Verify insurance and assist with prior authorizations, billing, and coding.
• Document in the EHR and update provider instructions.
