Job summary

AdventHealth seeks a qualified Medical Assistant to interview patients, measure vitals, and document in patient charts. You will assist providers with treatments and prepare exam rooms, while performing basic clerical duties to keep the care environment efficient.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and BLS CPR certification; prior medical office experience is preferred. Primary location is Florida, with a day shift and full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv (Required)
• Basic Life Support (CPR) Certification required
• CMA/CMAC/RMA/NCMA/CCMA/NRCMA/CMAC variants often required for CMA roles
• Previous customer service in a medical office preferred

Responsibilities

• Interview patients, measure vital signs and document in charts.
• Assist providers with treatments under supervision.
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean, organized environment.
• Handle clerical tasks: phones, records, filing, and stock supplies.
• Document encounters, orders for labs, radiology, and medications with accuracy.
