Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Fort Smith, Arkansas, seeks an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Specialist to provide high-tech postsales support at customer and remote sites, coordinating maintenance, scheduling, and training for government and partner personnel.

The role requires deep knowledge of fighter aircraft systems, ALIS/IMIS experience, and the ability to travel on short notice. Team Ebbing leads the recruitment at this facility.

Qualifications

• 8 years aircraft maintenance experience in flight line operations (USAF AFSC 7-skill level, Navy NEC, USMC MOS) or equivalent civilian experience.
• Total aircraft maintenance experience must include at least 1 year of F-35 maintenance.
• Experience with programs such as Aircraft Scheduling, Aircraft Records Management, Maintenance Control, Aircraft Configuration Control, Maintenance Information System, Tool and FOD, Training, Safety, Security, Hazardous Waste Management, or Supply Chain Management.

Responsibilities

• Uses aircraft data to project future maintenance events and schedule accordingly.
• Plans and develops current flight schedules for efficient service and optimal use of aircraft and resources.
• Coordinates with Maintenance Manager on schedules, status, and issues.
• Provides On-The-Job training to government and partner personnel on Aircraft Maintenance.
• Coordinates with Aircraft Maintenance Managers on work schedules and task assignments.
• Assists the Operations Analyst with monitoring aircraft status and requesting base support.
• Coordinates TCTD execution with Aircraft Maintenance Managers and maintains aircraft status boards.
• Applies ALIS/related procedures per ICIs and Sustainment Operating Instructions (SOIs).
• Meets physical requirements and travel needs as required.
