Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Sector is seeking an SCA Aircraft Mechanic 2 or SCA Aircraft Mechanic 3 to join our Flight Operations team at Ellsworth AFB, SD. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing aircraft and engine systems in accordance with specifications and FAA regulations.

Basic qualifications include a High School Diploma/GED with 4–6 years of aviation maintenance experience, ability to travel up to 25%, and a requirement to obtain PRP and final US government

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with 4–6 years of aviation maintenance experience (for Mechanic 3: 6+ years).
• Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time and relocate for training prior to permanent assignment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and service aircraft and engine systems.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform maintenance per specifications and FAA regulations.
• Maintain required records and provide on-the-job training to customer personnel.
