We are currently seeking a Flight Vehicle Systems Engineer to contribute to our mission in a dynamic startup environment. As a Flight Vehicle Systems Engineer, you will support the complete systems engineering lifecycle for our MAPP platform across multiple contracted lunar missions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with subsystem leads to assess design against technical performance measures (TPMs) to ensure healthy design margins
• Manage technical budgets including mass, power, interface utilization, and others
• Lead development of select cross‑cutting vehicle designs in collaboration with subsystem leads
• Develop and maintain internal and external interface control documents (ICDs)
• Participate in creation of analysis plans and test plans in accordance with verification and validation methodologies, and support documentation of test events and traceability back to requirements
• Perform system‑level modeling and analysis to optimize design performance, reliability, and safety
• Assist with management of engineering documentation, including Master Equipment Lists, BOMs, Design Data Books, etc.
• Ensure design and process compliance with applicable standards

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering or related discipline
• 2+ years of experience in Systems Engineering
• Strong understanding of spacecraft subsystems, including flight hardware and flight software
• Demonstrated experience in requirements management, interface control, and verification planning
• Experience using requirements management tools like DOORS or Jama
• Self‑motivated, focused, and driven to meet critical deadlines
• Excellent organization and time management skillsExcellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Class A spaceflight missions, human space flight, or human‑rated vehicle development
• Prior experience with ITAR/EAR compliance documentation and handling export‑controlled technical data
• Previous experience in mission operations or integration and test campaign design and execution
