Job summary

Raytheon in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Flight Vehicle IPT Lead for the SLCM-N program. The role encompasses cost, schedule, and technical leadership for a large, multi-disciplinary team onsite in Tucson.

You will drive IMS, EVMS, and phase-2 proposal activities, while mentoring staff and coordinating with the Navy program office. A STEM degree with 10+ years of relevant experience and active clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading an engineering team in missile system development and test.
• Ability to obtain Raytheon PM Certification Level 4 within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead FV IPT to establish and maintain an IMS aligned with program objectives.
• Apply EVMS methodologies to track scope, cost, and schedule.
• Serve as Phase 2 contract proposal lead for FV scope.
• Build multi-layer team with sub-IPTLs/CAMs for effective oversight.
• Participate on Navy-focused program leadership with strategic direction.
• Engage with the Office of the Chief Engineer to align priorities.
• Maintain customer relationships within the Navy program office.
• Provide mentorship and career growth guidance to team leads.
