Job summary

ATP Flight School is seeking a Training Support Specialist to enhance the training experience by enabling student access to resources and logistics to complete training on-time and on-budget.

You will work with the Airline Career Pilot Program, providing customer service support while coordinating schedules, tests, and checkrides with instructors and DPEs to ensure smooth operations and high student success rates across ATP’s programs.

Qualifications

• Customer service-oriented work experience required.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills required.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required.
• Aviation experience, FAA Certification knowledge preferred.
• Private Pilot Certificate or Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage with students individually and in groups to address needs and schedule.
• Verify and optimize student schedules to maximize success.
• Coach students on scheduling and performance issues as needed.
• Conduct pre-arrival calls, day-1 check-ins, and weekly orientation meetings.
• Administer FAA Knowledge Tests via CATS and schedule tests and checkrides.
• Coordinate with DPEs for checkride logistics and feedback.
• Plan for contingencies related to weather, maintenance, aircraft, or instructors.
• Facilitate introductions to other ATP departments when needed.
• Maintain student tracking records and update housing inspections bi-weekly.
