Job summary

ATP Flight School is seeking a Training Support Specialist to enhance the training experience for students. This role involves facilitating student access to resources, verifying schedules, coaching students, and conducting orientation meetings.

Ideal candidates will have a strong customer service background, organizational skills, and preferably knowledge of FAA Certification. This position includes an array of employee benefits and a supportive work environment at the nation's largest flight

Qualifications

• Customer service-oriented work experience required.
• Aviation experience, specifically an understanding of FAA Certification preferred.
• Private Pilot Certificate or Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works in groups and one on one with students, proactively initiating contact while responding to student needs.
• Verifies student schedules are effectively and efficiently built.
• Coaches students with scheduling or performance issues.
• Completes pre-arrival phone calls and checklist to ensure students arrive prepared.
• Administer FAA Knowledge Tests via CATS.
• Schedules and confirms Knowledge Tests, Evaluations, and checkride milestones.
• Contacts Designated Pilot Examiners for checkride availability and schedules.
• Makes contingency plans for weather, maintenance, and instructor limitations.
• Facilitates introductions to other ATP departments as required.
• Records and updates student tracking system.
• Conducts ATP Housing bi-weekly inspections.
