Job summary

Firefly Aerospace, Inc. is seeking a Level 2 TIG Welder to fabricate, assemble, and weld flight‑critical fluid systems and launch vehicle components using GTAW. You will interpret engineering drawings, execute precision fit‑up, and deliver welds that meet rigorous aerospace quality standards.

You’ll start on 1st shift with potential move to 2nd shift as you grow. You will collaborate with engineering to refine manufacturing processes while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity.

Qualifications

• 2 years TIG (GTAW) welding experience on tube, pipe, or precision assemblies.
• Experience with aerospace alloys including stainless steel and Inconel.
• Ability to read, interpret, and execute work from engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with precision measurement tools to hold tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings and specifications to plan welding operations.
• Cut, fit, and fabricate metal components to dimension.
• Perform fit-up, alignment, and tack welding of tubing and components.
• Set up and operate GTAW equipment, adjusting parameters for proper penetration.
• Fabricate, assemble, and weld various fluid systems and sub-assemblies.
• Inspect welds and finished hardware for conformance to drawings.
