Firefly Aerospace is seeking a Level 2 TIG Welder to build propulsion hardware for spacecraft. You will fabricate, assemble, and weld flight‑critical fluid systems using GTAW, interpret complex drawings, and deliver welds that meet stringent aerospace quality standards.

Training on 1st shift with potential move to 2nd shift as we scale, with a focus on safety and precision. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of TIG welding, experience with aerospace alloys, and proficiency with precision measurement

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on TIG welding experience on tubes, pipes, or precision assemblies.
• Experience fabricating tube and pipe components with precise fit-up.
• Experience with aerospace alloys such as stainless steel and Inconel.
• Ability to read, interpret, and execute from engineering drawings.
• Proficiency with measurement tools and basic computer tools (Outlook/Teams).

Responsabilités

• Fabricate, assemble and weld flight-critical fluid systems and components.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to plan welding operations.
• Set up GTAW equipment and adjust parameters for quality welds.
• Perform fit-up, alignment and tack welding before final welds.
• Inspect welds and fabricated hardware for conformance with drawings and standards.
• Document work, raise NCRs for non-conforming hardware, and support redline incorporation.
• Maintain shop safety, cleanliness, and FOD control.
