Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems is seeking a Flight Test Technician 3/4 to join our team at Grand Sky, Emerado, ND. You will support our Maintenance and Modification Facility, performing electrical, mechanical and instrumentation tasks on aircraft during flight test programs.

The role requires reading schematics, following engineering orders, and working in varied spaces with lifting up to 50 pounds. Willingness to work flexible shifts and travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, process specifications, and manuals.
• Perform moderate physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Able to access small/confined spaces and work in enclosed environments.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Secret DoD Clearance within a reasonable time.

Responsibilities

• Instructs, coordinates and performs duties of Flight Test personnel.
• Maintenance, repair, modification, installation and testing of systems.
• Work from blueprints, schematics and technical orders to complete tasks.
• Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, tests and maintains aircraft equipment.
• Notify supervision of malfunctions and ensure quality checks.
