Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Flight Test Technician 2/3 in Emerado, North Dakota. Responsibilities include testing, repair, and maintenance of aircraft systems, reading blueprints, and working with complex assemblies. Eligible candidates can travel ~10% and must obtain/maintain DoD Secret clearance.

Shift options include 4/10 schedules and a supportive team environment. The role requires problem-solving, strong technical skills, and a proactive attitude toward safety and quality

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent; 2 years flight test or related technician experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret or higher clearance.
• Ability to perform physical work incl. bending, lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Willingness to work outdoors year-round and travel ~10%.
• May be required to travel for training or other job-related activities.

Responsibilities

• Performs testing, rework and repair across fields of specialization.
• Works from blueprints, schematics, repair manuals and orders.
• Drilling, fitting, assembly, riveting, insulation and related duties.
• Maintenance and testing of electrical, mechanical or instrumentation systems.
• Notifies supervision of malfunctions; ensures quality and accuracy.
• Production accountability and documentation of assemblies and tooling.
• May travel for training or other duties; adheres to PPE and safety rules.
• Supports ground operations and related hangar responsibilities.
