Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Flight Test Technician 3/4 for the MQ-4 Triton program stationed at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, MD. The role involves servicing, repairing, and testing complex aircraft systems in a demanding field environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent with relevant technician experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required; ability to obtain Top Secret.
• Ability to perform moderately strenuous physical work and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work outside in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Performs developmental, experimental and production aircraft maintenance, repair, modification, installation, and testing tasks.
• Instructs and coordinates Flight Test personnel in assigned areas.
• Determines installation sequences for critical aircraft components and systems.
• Performs testing, rework and repair across electrical, mechanical or instrumentation fields.
• Works from blueprints, schematics, and technical orders to support MQ-4 Triton operations.
• May travel for training or job-related activities.
