Job summary

A leading American engineering consultant is looking for a skilled technician to support the MQ-4C Triton Systems at Patuxent River, MD. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of maintenance tasks including avionics, electrical systems, and troubleshooting. A technical degree with relevant experience is required, and the role offers competitive pay and benefits including medical and 401k options. Candidates with Navy Test and Evaluation maintenance experience will be preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years of aircraft maintenance experience required for an Associate degree holder.
• 5 years of experience may substitute an Associate degree if holding a High School Diploma/GED.
• Experience with NAMP OOMA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the MQ-4C Triton Systems Development and Demonstration Program.
• Perform maintenance on various Air Vehicle systems as per technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions in multiple systems.

Job description

Our client is a large American multinational company primarily providing avionics and information technology systems and services to governmental agencies and aircraft manufacturers.

Job Description

• This position will support the MQ-4C Triton Systems Development and Demonstration Program at Patuxent River, MD.
• The successful candidate will perform a variety of maintenance on the MQ-4C Triton.
• The maintenance includes but is not limited to avionics, electrical, instrumentation, engine, hydraulic, airframes, and other mechanical systems and subsystems.
• Maintenance actions will include troubleshooting and diagnosing malfunctions, disassembly, wiring repair, wire harness manufacture and routing, engine repair and upkeep, composite repair, hydraulic systems rework, braking systems rework, repair, replacement, re-assembly or adjustment of various Air Vehicle systems in accordance with technical specifications, engineering instructions, 4790 series maintenance manuals (IETMs), and NGC processes and procedures.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Associate degree in a related technical field plus 2 years of aircraft maintenance experience or High School Diploma/GED plus 5 years of experience may be substituted for an Associate degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Navy Test and Evaluation maintenance experience. Experience with NAMP OOMA a plus.

Additional Information

Pay Rate: $24-27/hr.
