Job description

WeareseekingaFlightTestTeamLeadtoacceleratethedevelopmentandtestingofournewadvanceairmobilityvehicle.Thispersonwillleadtheflighttestengineeringandoperationsteamtosafelyperformtheon-groundandin-flightdutiesinsupportofthepassengertransportaircraftintendedtopartakeintheUrbanAirMobility(UAM)/AdvancedAirMobility(AAM)andfutureproductdevelopment.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-daymanagementoftheflighttestteammembersincludingpilotsandengineersbymaintainingascheduleoftasksanddeliverables
• Applycollaborativeapproachwithtoflighttestteamtoexecuteflyingonboardexperimentalaircraftand/orunmannedflyingvehicleoperationasacrewvmemberfollowingappropriatetraining.
• Communicationandcoordinationofeffortsrelatingtotestingactivitieswithallotherdisciplines
• Testdocumentationandreporting,includingtechnicalreviewandgenerationoftestplans,instructions,testlimitationsandpostflightreports.
• Coordinationoftestaircraftandexperimentalequipmentconfigurationfortest.
• Conductandimplementsafetyandriskmitigationproceduresasdefinedbycompanypolicies,andcompliancewithFAARegulations(befamiliarwithFAAOrder4040.26B).
• Ensuretestteamisadequatelytrainedfortheappropriatemissionsincludingmannedandunmannedaircraftoperationsandtelemetryroomstaff.
