Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Test Pilot to lead development, certification and demonstration of advanced aerospace technology. You will join a team including test pilots, flight test engineers, and support staff to deliver accurate, repeatable data.

Reporting to the Chief Test Pilot, this on-site role requires 2000+ hours, ATP, and multi-engine type ratings; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 2000+ hours in turbine-powered aircraft.
• Type rating in large turbine aircraft (or military equivalent).
• FAA ATP Airplane Multi-Engine Land or eligible.
• First-Class Medical.
• Bachelor's or Master's in engineering or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct flight tests to evaluate aircraft systems and components.
• Develop and execute test plans, techniques and procedures.
• Conduct trip planning and dispatching transport category aircraft.
• Analyze test data and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and safety standards.
• Test reporting and technical document development.
• Collaborate on marketing and demonstration activities for customers.
• Conduct familiarization, demonstration, proficiency and evaluation flights.
