Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking an Ops Research Analyst / Flight Test Engineer to join our Las Vegas team.

You will develop MATLAB tools, analyze multi-source flight test data, and create visualizations to compare empirical results with models, while authoring comprehensive test documentation. Responsibilities include planning and executing flight tests, applying DOE techniques, and translating findings into actionable recommendations for leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, data analytics, operations research, statistics, physics, computer science, or related STEM field.

Responsibilities

• Develop & Maintain Custom MATLAB Tools: Design, program, and maintain data analysis tools, scripts, and automated processes in MATLAB (and/or Python).
• Multi-Source Data Analysis: Aggregate, clean, and analyze complex datasets from various sources, identifying data anomalies.
• Advanced Data Visualization: Create graphical representations or dashboards to compare empirical test data against models.
• End-to-End Test Documentation: Author test plans, test cards, data management protocols, logs, and reports.
• Test Design & Strategy: Use design of experiments to build test matrices and define data collection requirements.
• Flight Test Execution: Coordinate and participate in flight tests, including control room duties.
• Reporting & Strategic Recommendations: Translate metrics into engineering reports and briefings.
• Cross-Functional Communication: Convey technical concepts to program leadership.
