Job summary

Gulfstream Savannah is seeking a Flight Test - Manufacturing Engineer III for the Weekend Shift to support Lean initiatives, cycle-time reduction, and process improvements in our flight test environment. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering and 4+ years in manufacturing engineering; experience with CATIA, Solumina, SAP, and related tools is highly preferred.

Fridays to Sundays 12-hour shifts, plus a 4-hour Monday shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related field; 4 years manufacturing engineering or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical studies and analyses to improve production methods and procedures.
• Create work instructions to optimize process efficiency and minimize defects.
• Develop and implement layouts, tooling, and cost/quality improvement initiatives.
• Lead and communicate technical topics to non-technical audiences.
• Support Lean and Six Sigma initiatives across the flight test operations environment.
