Job summary

The Boeing Company in Saint Charles, MO is seeking an Associate Mechanical Systems Design & Analysis Engineer to join the BT&E team. You will lead the design and documentation of mechanical, fluid, and thermal systems for flight test instrumentation, collaborating with electrical designers and manufacturing engineers.

This role requires a BS in engineering, 2+ years of mechanical design experience, and U.S. Citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering with Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical or Materials Sciences focus.
• 2+ years of experience in mechanical systems design.
• Experience with CAD/3D software (UG/NX, CATIA, SolidWorks, CREO, etc.).
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and documentation of mechanical, fluid system and thermal environments.
• Lead the development, modification of system designs to provide design docs and high-level requirements to users/customers.
• Perform detailed design development and modification of mechanical and fluid system installations.
• Lead team in spatial integration at system or component level and modification of mechanisms/ordinance systems.
• Prepare technical documents for mechanical components and systems.
• Prepare proposals and new business development efforts.
• Coordinate with test program management for work estimation and intake process.
• Delegate tasks to design team and supervise junior engineers.
