Job summary

Zone 5 Technologies is seeking a Logistics Manager to architect and lead auditable, scalable logistics and inventory management across flight test programs. You will implement centralized asset control, establish sign-in/out procedures, track ownership and usage, and drive procurement, maintenance, and compliance.

The role requires 5–8+ years in logistics/asset management, ERP familiarity, and travel up to 50% across USA locations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or related field.
5–8+ years of logistics or asset management experience in high-reliability environments.
Experience building inventory systems from scratch.
Familiarity with HAZMAT shipping regulations and interstate transport compliance.
Strong organizational leadership and cross-team coordination skills.
Experience with ERP, inventory software, or asset management systems.
Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

Inventory & Asset Management Architecture: design and implement centralized inventory system for flight test and engineering assets.
Equipment Allocation & Program Coordination: forecast demand and deconflict asset usage across teams.
Procurement & Replenishment: manage vendor lists and trigger reorders.
Fleet & Flight Test Resource Management: schedule inspections and maintenance for vehicles and equipment.
Interstate Equipment Movement & Compliance: manage shipments, paperwork, and labeling with regulatory compliance.
Process & Continuous Improvement: establish KPIs and drive audits and corrective actions.
Develop scalable systems to support company growth.
