Job summary

Qualis LLC is seeking an Electrical Engineer to provide instrumentation and modification advice and assistance for tests and data collection in support of instrumented flight systems.

The role involves designing sensor configurations, data systems, coordinating fabrication, and ensuring instrumentation meets test data requirements, while supporting cost estimates and avionics integration for test aircraft and weapon systems.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Must hold or be able to obtain a Secret DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed engineering analysis for test data requirements of a system to be tested.
• Determine the most suitable method of measuring the required phenomena.
• Design suitable sensor configurations, data systems, camera installations, etc.
• Coordinate and monitor system hardware preparation to ensure activities are completed on time, are compatible with, and are fully integrated into a complete and functional system.
• Provide inputs to cost estimates for instrumentation efforts and to avionics integration on weapons systems.
