Job summary

Qualis LLC is seeking an Electrical Engineer to provide instrumentation and modification advice and assistance. The ideal candidate will support the design, implementation, installation, and maintenance of instrumentation for tests and data collection on test aircraft and weapon systems.

The role involves defining instrumentation requirements, evaluating instrumentation against analysis needs, and preparing modification proposals and technical procedures to ensure proper operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Must hold or be able to obtain a Secret DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed engineering analysis for test data requirements of a system to be tested.
• Determine the most suitable method of measuring the required phenomena.
• Design suitable sensor configurations, data systems, camera installations, etc.
• Prepare modification proposal packages.
• Ensure that planned modifications are technically correct.
• Prepare technical procedures and directives to ensure proper operation of instrumentation systems.
• Coordinate and monitor system hardware preparation to ensure activities are completed on time and integrated into a complete system.
• Install test instrumentation systems on test aircraft and weapon systems.
