Job summary

CoAspire is seeking a Flight Test Engineer to lead planning, coordination, execution, data analysis, and reporting for developmental and operational flight tests of advanced missile systems. You will work under the Flight Test Director with engineering, manufacturing, program management, and test leadership teams to validate performance, safety, and mission effectiveness.

We target Florida residents to run testing events across the southeastern US.

Qualifications

• 2–8 years of experience in aerospace test and evaluation, with hands‑on experience supporting or leading flight testing activities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field required.
• Experience planning and supporting complex flight tests, including test procedure development and data analysis.
• Familiarity with MIL-STD, range safety requirements, DO-178 or equivalent.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans for missile flight tests, including ground and open-air campaigns.
• Assist with test conduct, monitor system performance, ensure safety protocol adherence, coordinate with range personnel.
• Define test objectives and data requirements; integrate modeling/simulation with live testing.
• Support data collection, reduction, and detailed analysis; interpret results and propose improvements.
• Support MDO efforts by integrating test data with multidisciplinary models.
• Prepare technical documentation, analyses, charts, and contribute to reports and readiness reviews.
• Ensure compliance with engineering requirements and safety standards.
