Job summary

Applied Intuition, Inc. is seeking a Flight Test Engineer to lead and improve flight test processes across the company.

You will report to the Head of Flight Test & Safety and collaborate with stakeholders, program managers, and customers to define test requirements and plans. The role requires 3+ years in flight test, a Bachelor's in Aerospace or related field, an advanced degree, and US citizenship with an active security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
• Advanced degree in aerospace or related technical field is preferred.
• 3+ years of professional flight test responsibilities.
• U.S. citizenship and active security clearance required.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% for test campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Determine test requirements to create test plans with stakeholders.
• Engage with current customers to ensure test success.
• Ensure flight test programs are adequately staffed.
• Provide SME operator knowledge to technical teams.
• Develop partnerships with test ranges for access to campaigns.
• Lead test plan working groups, reviews, and safety reviews.
• Author clear test plans, reports, hazard analyses, and checklists.
