Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation in Dayton, OH seeks a Test Engineer (Flight Test) through the Military Fellowship Program. You will simulate, test, certify and improve cutting-edge products and services across aircraft, payloads and space systems while developing complex test plans.

This role focuses on verification and validation, with hands-on test execution and cross-functional collaboration to advance product lifecycles. Eligibility requires active-duty service and DoD SkillBridge participation.

Qualifications

• Currently serving as active duty military and be eligible to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program.
• Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering or related discipline and typically 10+ years of experience.
• Higher education may substitute for relevant experience.
• Thorough understanding of engineering principles and practices.
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams.
• Advanced knowledge of requirements management, system design, and systems integration.
• Demonstrated experience planning, conducting and documenting Verification and Validation (V&V) activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex test plans and procedures for a variety of systems to verify and validate requirements.
• Execute tests using top industry tools and document results for certification.
• Collaborate with cross-functional design and development teams across the product lifecycle.
