Job summary

Participants will work on constructing and maintaining electronic, mechanical, and optical systems while ensuring compliance with specifications. This role primarily requires proficiency in reading technical documents and using various lab and hand tools, with a preference for candidates who have prior experience in the aerospace sector.

Qualifications

• Must be currently serving on active duty and eligible for the DoD SkillBridge program.
• Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education.
• Previous experience or certifications within the aerospace and defense industry are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, test, and maintain electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and optical equipment and systems.
• Ensure equipment and components meet established specifications.

Skills

Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings, diagrams, schematics, and manuals

Proficiency with standard laboratory test equipment

Experience with hand tools and power tools

Education

Associate’s degree in a related field
