KBR is seeking a Flight Test Engineer to support the Advanced Sensors Technologies Program Office in Point Mugu, California. In this role, you will manage test planning, execution, and evaluation of airborne systems while ensuring compliance with operational requirements. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in flight testing and effective collaboration skills.
KBR's Defense Systems Engineering Division is a Flight Test Engineer in Point Mugu, CA. The successful candidate will provide flight test engineering support to the Advanced Sensors Technologies (AST) Program Office (PO). They will serve as Test and Evaluation process subject matter experts (SME) performing ground and flight test planning, documentation, execution, scheduling, tracking, analysis, metrics development, verification, and reporting tasks. Additionally, they serve as aircraft platform and sensor system SMEs designing flight tests to determine performance, verify system specifications, characterize system functionality, and to support algorithm development.
Basic Qualifications
Citizenship : Must be a US Citizen
Security Clearance : Top Secret / SSBI security clearance. Must have completed a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) within the past six (6) years or currently enrolled in the Continuous Evaluation (CE) Program.
Education : A bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline OR High School Diploma with equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years of Flight Test Experience

Compensation : $171,000-191,000.
Additional Compensation :
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
