Job summary

CAE Inc. is seeking an Instructor Pilot in Arlington, TX. You will lead simulator sessions and pre-flight briefings, shaping pilots’ mastery and readiness while advancing CAE’s mission in civil aviation and defense training.

This full-time, on-site role requires the ability to travel up to 50% for installs and upgrades, and to work varied shifts. A security clearance and strong client interaction skills are essential.

Qualifications

• SECRET security clearance required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (customer users, USAF, USN SMEs).
• Good analytical skills.
• Experience interfacing with customers and end users.
• Ability to explain technical concerns to customer.
• Ability to lead a team of engineers.
• Self-motivated to address, evaluate, and correct testing concerns.
• Knowledge of aircraft systems and the associated environment.
• Ability to travel to site for installs and upgrades (6+ years of related experience).

Responsibilities

• Lead testing and evaluation of Military Single or Multi-Engine Fixed-Wing aircraft.
• Develop and execute integration, test, and deployment activities.
• Plan to satisfy verified and validated program requirements.
• Coordinate with customers and end users for acceptance tests.
• Maintain rigorous test program per contractual requirements.
• Supervise test teams and manage cost and schedule considerations.
