Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Savannah is seeking a Flight Test Data Engineering Application Developer to design, build, and support software that processes and analyzes flight test data. You will work with engineers and data professionals to deliver reliable, scalable applications and modern data workflows.

You will develop UI, business logic, and data access layers using C#, Angular, and .NET technologies, while optimizing database interactions and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience for business, technical, or engineering applications.
• Experience leading complex software development efforts and making technical design decisions.
• Experience collaborating with technical users, cross-functional teams, and other developers to deliver production-ready capabilities.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex software issues and mentor junior developers when needed.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications that support flight test data processing and handling.
• Collaborate with flight test engineers, data engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver practical software solutions.
• Build and maintain user interfaces, business logic, and data access layers using modern development practices.
• Develop and optimize database interactions, queries, and data models to support efficient storage, retrieval, and reporting of flight test data.
• Troubleshoot application issues, support production users, and implement improvements to increase reliability and usability.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, documentation, and configuration management activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development standards and reusable components.
