BETA Technologies, Inc. in Burlington, VT is seeking a Flight Test Change Management Engineer to lead the change management process for flight test assets and configurations.

You will work cross-functionally with Certification Engineers, Systems Engineers, Design Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure traceability and FAA compliance while maintaining product configuration controls in PLM/ERP systems. Qualifications

• BS in a relevant engineering or quality discipline or equivalent education and experience.
• Production Lifecycle and ERP software experience (3Dx, Teamcenter, Plex, SAP).
• Proficient with 3D CAD software (Catia/Enovia preferred).
• Strong MS Excel skills for analyzing product structures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Analyze flight test design changes and FT issued changes; provide hardware, software, and test asset impacts.
• Advise on impact to flight test assets for safe flight, maintenance, and return to service.
• Author and maintain procedures for flight test change management and asset configurations.
• Apply product structure changes and effectivity to end items in the PLM/ERP environment.
• Develop training and provide detailed instructions for flight test change management.
