Gulfstream Aerospace seeks a Flight Test - Avionics/Elec Technician Lead for the 2nd shift in Savannah, GA. The role directs electrical and avionics activities, coordinates with hangar management, and ensures schedules and safety standards are met.
The position requires extensive avionics/electrical experience, leadership ability, and the capacity to adapt to schedule changes. Strong technical oversight and reporting are essential for smooth flight test operations.
Flight Test - Avionics/Elec Technician Lead - 2nd Shiftin GAC Savannah
Prevevious Flight Test Experience preferred
High School Diploma or GED required. Eight (8) years experience in aircraft avionics/electrical career field; or two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and six (6) years related experience. Two (2) years experience on large/mid-size aircraft. Other Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license preferred or must be able to obtain a Repairman Certificate preferred. Other FCC license preferred. Other NCATT Certification preferred.
Plans and coordinates all electrical/avionics activities and provides customers with daily information on aircraft schedules, repairs, parts, components shipped to vendors, etc. Works with hangar management to coordinate electrical/avionics activities and schedule aircraft requirements.
1.1 Establishes and fosters an environment of innovation and Lean oriented thinking. .
2.2 In support of aircraft certification and final phase testing, may include flight tests on aircraft as required.
