Job summary

Scaled Composites, LLC seeks an Electrical Integration Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and test electrical and avionics systems for our experimental aircraft. You will own a significant scope from concept through fabrication and flight test support, working across power distribution, telemetry, and data systems.

The ideal candidate has a BS in engineering, avionics experience, and strong programming and schematic skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or substantial equivalent experience.
• Experience with avionics and/or aircraft electrical systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages: C, C++, Python, MATLAB, Simulink.
• Experience with data acquisition, signal conditioning, and data processing.
• Experience with circuit board design and layout.
• DOD Secret Clearance or eligibility, as required.
• Ability to work under aggressive schedules and multi-project environments.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements and interfaces for custom electrical and avionics solutions.
• Specify and modify commercial off-the-shelf solutions for prototype needs.
• Develop and test electrical software and hardware for aircraft systems.
• Create and maintain electrical schematics for vehicles and test hardware.
• Support ground and flight test design, planning, and execution.
• Collaborate across disciplines to own substantial design scope.
