Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) in Patuxent River, MD seeks experienced Flight Operations Mechanics to join the team. The role covers preflight, experimental aircraft maintenance, and flight-line checks of electrical and electronic systems.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in military aircraft maintenance and exposure to military or commercial aircraft. Relocation is available where eligible, with a comprehensive Total Rewards package and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in military aircraft maintenance.
• 1+ years experience in a military or commercial aircraft environment.
• Military fighter or commercial aircraft maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect calibration, adjustment, troubleshooting and repair of electronic test equipment used in production.
• Perform preflight and daily maintenance on experimental aircraft.
• Inspect and troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems on aircraft.
• Fabricate parts and assemblies without jigs or fixtures.
• Install or replace instruments and components (fuel, oil, indicators).
• Perform operational checkouts and maintenance on hydraulic and mechanical systems.
