Job summary

SpaceX in Hawthorne, CA, is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer specializing in simulation and flight systems. You will own critical software powering the exploration and validation of next-generation technologies across SpaceX flight systems, building high-performance web applications that span the design–build–test–operations pipeline.

Collaborate across engineering teams to deliver features that improve reliability, performance, and user productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, math, or science and 1+ years of software development experience, or 3+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Proficiency in Python, C, C++, or Rust for application development.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle).

Responsibilities

• Build full-stack solutions that integrate simulation software, emulators, and flight software.
• Rapidly develop prototypes to validate key design concepts and constraints.
• Create and maintain high-fidelity simulation and emulation software for all vehicles.
