Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer for Flight Software to join the application software team. You will own end-to-end software development, build mission-critical applications, and contribute to high-throughput manufacturing and data platforms supporting Starship, Starlink, and launch operations.

Ideal candidates will have strong full stack experience, proficiency in Python, C#.NET, Go or Java, and hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in a fast-paced, mission-driven

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or scientific discipline; OR 2+ years of professional experience building software in lieu of a degree
• Experience in full stack development
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred
• Strong understanding of software architecture and testing
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and monitoring

Responsibilities

• Develop highly reliable software solutions that are used across SpaceX
• Create new applications that improve how SpaceX operates
• Build prototypes to prove out key design concepts and quantify technical constraints
• Own all aspects of software engineering and product development
• Deep dive into users’ problems to find and create efficient solutions
• Bring your voice to the table in team collaborations on architecture, design, and code reviews
