Job summary

Space Kinetic seeks a Flight Software Engineer team member as part of its Development Program in El Segundo, CA. This full-time, onsite role pairs new graduates with mentors to develop software for Space Kinetic’s flight systems while gaining cross-disciplinary exposure.

You will work with engineers from software, electrical, mechanical, and controls domains, advancing from foundational tasks to system-level problem solving as you grow professionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in a technical discipline (CS/EE/CE).
• Strong programming fundamentals in OOP languages (C++, C#, Java).
• Experience with version control and collaborative workflows.

Responsibilities

• Support development, integration, and testing of flight software.
• Collaborate across software, electrical, mechanical, controls, and systems teams.
• Grow into higher-responsibility software development and system-level problem solving.
