Actalent is seeking a Flight Software Engineer to join our team in Houston, TX for contract-to-hire. You will develop software for satellite and lander programs using C++ and integrate it with hardware, participating in the full lifecycle and leveraging TRICK for simulation.

The role requires at least 2 years of flight software experience, proficiency in C++ and Linux, and collaboration across disciplines in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Join our dynamic team to engage in the full software development lifecycle for satellite and lander aerospace programs. As a Flight Software Engineer, you will utilize your expertise in C++ to develop software for simulation, ground, or flight purposes, and work collaboratively with various disciplines to integrate software into hardware.

Essential Skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in embedded software development.

Work Environment

The role requires working onsite at Intuitive Machines for Barrios. You will be part of a collaborative team, utilizing cutting-edge technologies in a fast-paced and innovative work environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
